Our very own ball of energy – Team Genius - went over to entertain the folks at BreakThru Radio last week.
“During their exclusive live session we tested their portrait drawing skills and learned everything from track-star secrets to state mascot trivia,” BTR said.
Team Genius danced around and performed some of their wonderfully upbeat tunes about the toils of being a twenty-something in the city and showed us all what a good time looks like.
Team Genius is currently finishing up mixing on their full-length (to be released in the Fall via PGR) as well as prepping for the release of the next two EP’s that will come out shortly before at The Rock Shop in Park Slope on August 24th with Apollo Run and Happy People – make sure you get your tickets here:

As if our wonderful signees aren’t getting around enough lately – they’re now set to play as part of Montreal’s Fringe Festival on June 15th in Parc Des Ameriques.
Not only will the awesome event feature Montreal gems, FM Hi Low, Harvest Breed and Friend of all the World alongside Conveyor and Team Genius – but Indyish.com will be giving away 500 kazoos at the show!
If you’re anywhere near Montreal this Friday at 5pm this is definitely worth checking out – a makeshift kazoo choir and some seriously good bands isn’t the kind of thing you want to miss!
If you can make it keep an eye out for Conveyor on their recently announced national tour for the sonic experience New York is raving about.
