Pre-order Conveyor’s debut self-titled album on colored 12″ vinyl, CD, or digitally at http://papergardenrecords.com/shop/conveyor/

Conveyor let their colors shine in a highly entertaining interview with T Mak World last week to discuss their record, upcoming NXNE performance and why Thomas Edison’s “Wax n Facts” tour of 1877 would be their ultimate opening gig.

The hilarious foursome managed to entertain  us all with their unique sense of humour – when asked if music fans should catch their show at NXNE they said:

“No fan of music should come to our show.  Fans of human beings and an Earthly existence and being alive and drinking water will have a GREAT time at our NXNE show.  It helps if you’ve ever been to a jai alai fronton.”

So if you’re into being alive, hydrated and maybe even contact sports… catch Conveyor for what’s sure to be an awesome show at NXNE in Toronto on June 16th @ C’Est What? and/or pre-order their debut album.

Paper Garden Records is beyond ecstatic to announce the release of the self-titled debut LP from Brooklyn’s CONVEYOR this Summer (July 17, 2012).  Having only teased the world with an EP and a few singles so far, Conveyor has already made a big impression on the blogosphere, earning accolades from Consequence of Sound, We Listen For You, Earmilk, I Guess I’m Floating, Listen Before You Buy, Baeble Music, Yvynyl, and BPM.  After returning from a successful SXSW 2012, Conveyor are getting ready to embark on a summer of tour dates that include the Fringe Festival (Montreal) and NXNE (Toronto) the weekend of June 15th, back to NYC for their record release show at Mercury Lounge on June 28th, and a full national tour in support of the LP that begins the very next day.

We are very proud to welcome Conveyor to our family and we can’t wait to share their music and their songs with you.

About Conveyor

Conveyor is a Brooklyn-based music project spawned by the fated juncture of a wandering tarot of musicians in Gainesville, FL. Was it kismet or perhaps a primordial summon which led these gentlemen purveyors of sound to individually tune in and migrate North to the bustling seductress known as New York City? Their retort is Sun Ray, a debut EP birthed and released in the warm embrace of Spring 2011. Brimming with lucid, homey synths layered over acoustic guitars and harmonious vocals, they channel extraterrestrial bible-thumpers drenched in love, spouting acid-soaked pop unabashed to beam with the simultaneous embrace of life/death realities backed by a polyrhythmic, pulsing backdrop. A decidedly grand task indeed, and following a string of self-released, handmade EPs, they are releasing their debut full-length album in 2012 with Brooklyn’s Paper Garden Records, a testament to our nature and the nature of ourselves.

Kidstreet.  Yes, it’s that amazing late ’80′s/early ’90′s Canadian TV show based around sibling teams competing against one another to win toys and prizes.  More noteably, however, is the incredible electro-pop kinder surprise band that drew their name from the show.  As a sibling trio themselves, Kidstreet is generously treating the rest of us to a little prize of our own, in the form of their strongly caffeinated song, “X” and the music video for “Penny Candy”.

Kidstreet was originally brought to our attention during one of many blurry nights at NXNE a few years ago.  Since then they have toured and played shows with Girltalk, Thunderheist and Au Revoir Simone, signed with Nettwerk, and are now coming down to NYC to play Paper Garden’s CMJ showcase!  Their live show brings a sugar high on par with a million pixi stix.  Dancing shoes required.
