It’s been nearly 3 years since the last Bryan Scary release. If you’re already a fan, you know that’s about 3 years too many. If this is the first you’re hearing of Scary, then get ready: his new album, Daffy’s Elixir, is about to flood your ears with grandiose 70′s inspired experimental indie pop. Having recently played Daffy’s Elixir in its entirety at NYC’s (le) Poisson Rouge venue and now plotting an Off-Broadway theatre work centered around the record, Scary is awing existing fans all-the-while quickly attracting new ones with this bold new project.

If you’re lucky enough to be biting from the Big Apple, Bryan Scary will be playing a couple key shows in the coming months. He’ll be playing at Joe’s Pub (with fellow label-mates Little Tybee) on April 11th, and the Daffy’s Elixir record release show on April 24th @ Brooklyn Bowl.
