Happy day-after-Columbus-Day everybody! And speaking of trans-Atlantic conquering, our favorite Brits, Tall Ships, are making their way over to the U-S-A next week for CMJ!!
Paper Garden first discovered Tall Ships via The Lovely Hearts Club a few months back and have been itching to work with the band more ever since – and it certainly doesn’t hurt that their UK label, Big Scary Monsters, just happens to be the same label releasing PGR’s Dad Rocks! in the UK. In addition to our own excitement about Tall Ships the band has been building quite the buzz and following on their own, playing a slew of Summer Festivals (Bestival, The Great Escape, Hop Farm) and touring with both We Are Scientists and Minus The Bear.
We’re extremely psyched that they’ll be playing our Paper Garden Records showcase at The Living Room on Tuesday 10/18! Tall Ships in a Living Room… get ready for some indie-rock madness. So if you’re going to be around for CMJ make sure to come by at 4pm sharp, grab a beer and let Tall Ships blow your mind!
