The opening track from Conveyor‘s debut LP has been posted for first listening on one of our favorite blogs, I Guess I’m Floating today!

The new song “Woolgatherer“ is shiny, complex, endlessly catchy and full of the nuances that make Conveyor the only band of its kind.

IGIF were almost as excited about the track as we are:

“Woolgatherer is a great summertime track, blending up-and-down harmonies with punchy percussion as well as scorching sunshine and afternoon thunderstorms. The vocals remind me of Brooklyn’s ARMS and the snap-crackle percussion/harmony tango of juvenile Animal Collective,” they said.

The 3rd annual Multiverse Playground music/art/fun fest was a huge success, y’all! A big ‘thanks-so-much’ to everyone who came out and partied with us!

Our budz from Ugly Art Room contributed some really amazing visual art (aka ‘headspace’, check it out) as well as a photographer to document all of the righteous fun everyone was having.

Our pals from Street Carnage also came by to capture any and all they deemed worthy of the honorable Street Boner title. And if you still somehow didn’t manage to get your mug in a photo, you could hop into the PBR photobooth for good measure.

Meanwhile our oh-so-generous sponsors, PBR and Vitamin Water donated tons of free drinks to keep our precious party goers satiated. Also present were the always innovative Thinglink, Livetapp, and Grooveshark. Rad! Our very own tiny Heidi Greenwood manned the grill, slingin’ dogs out like a pro while DJ sets from Delicate Steve, Bear Hands, and DJ BearBait (Pattern is Movement) spun the jams in between sets. Comedy sets from Chris Betts, Funny Aaron, and more were definite highlights. And the bands! Oh, the bands! None of this would have made any sense without you. So, THANK-YOU to each and every one of you!

Multiverse Playground part III: an exploration into the evolution of music, art and comedy, has come at last!  Featuring over 19 acts including bands, special guest DJs, visual artists, and comedians, Multiverse Playground’s 3rd installment delivers a collaborative and community-driven, multimedia event of epic proportions.

Musically, we have brought an array of acts, both within and outside of the Paper Garden roster.  Showcasing Paper Garden Records’ Pree and Little Tybee, we have also brought on outside guest DJ sets from Bear Hands, Delicate Steve, and DJ Bearbait (Pattern Is Movement) as well as performances from Snowmine, Twi The Humble Feather, ARMS, Team Genius, EULA, Caged Animals, Data Dog, Afuche, Whale Belly, Lowell, Progress, and Marra Barr.

In addition, we will have comedy sets from Chris Betts and Aaron Kominos-Smith (Funny Aaron) amongst visual art from Ugly Art Room, PBR Art, and more.

Throughout the day, we have invited sponsors from some of the best up-and-coming music-related tech startup companies to join us and create fun and interactive ways to use their services.  We’ll be joined by the lovely folks from Thinglink, Grooveshark, and Livetapp.

Oh, and did we mention FREE BEER from PBR and FREE VITAMINWATER yet?  Because yeah, that’s happening too!

$8 suggested donation, 12 noon till 11pm

We can’t help ourselves, we simply MUST throw parties! We are very proud to announce our third installment of Multiverse Playground: An exploration into the evolution of music, art and comedy.

Yeah, that’s right! This will be our third consecutive year and let’s just say, third times a charm. Bigger and better than ever before, Multiverse Playground will take place in our very own backyard in Brooklyn on September 17th. Stay tuned for the official announcement soon… but for now we can tell you Little Tybee, Pree, Snowmine, ARMS, Whale Belly, EULA and Afuche will be gracing the stage, Chris Betts will be making you giggle and there will be FREE BEER & VITAMIN WATER for your belly PLUS a multitude of visual goodies to stimulate your senses!

In addition, we’ll be giving away some goodies thanks to Thinglink via secret links in our Thinglink-enabled images, so hover your mouse already!
