We can hardly believe it, tomorrow marks the release of the highly anticipated self-titled album from Conveyor! It feels like just yesterday we met the four Brooklyn by way of Gainesville gentleman. It’s been a hard record to keep a secret, (hence exfm’s exclusive stream a few weeks ago) and now you have the chance again to hear the record in full at Listen Before You Buy and Spinner.
This week on Listen Before You Buy will see content from the band including an interview, a Desert Island Discs selection, a review of their album, and the band will takeover the site for one day and post some of their favorite music they’ve been listening to. The first single, Woolgatherer, is receiving praise as one of the ‘best Summer tracks of 2012′ and the album was the #6 most added record at CMJ and debuted on the CMJ Top 200 within its first week in rotation.
Conveyor embarked on tour a couple weeks ago as well, already having conquered a slew of cities on the East Coast and across the Midwest. Now making their way to the West Coast, Conveyor is quickly impressing new and old fans alike with their energetic and highly engaging live show. On top of a few new tour dates being added (including San Diego, Nashville, Johnson City, and a ‘welcome home’ NYC show @ Glasslands), the band has also set up in-office and in-studio sessions with Daytrotter, Hipstamatic, Origami Vinyl, Grooveshark, a web TV show called “Weekly Comet” and a slew of radio stations across the country.
